PowerStat II - Manages statistics
of page views, Statistic Software and Access Counter in one product, How
many hits, where they are coming from and puts it into usable bar graphs
and numbers, it saves detailed information of your Web Page Visitors and
is able to present these information and resulting values in any way you
want. The software saves information about
• Number of visitors today
• Number of visitors in the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and 365 days
• Average visitors of the last 7, 30 and 365 days
• Top number of visitors in the last 30 and 365 days, including the date
• The last 500 visitors: date/time, country, browser, remote host, remote address and referer link
• The referer:(the page from which the visitor reached your page, e.g. which search engine)
• Per cent list of the countries
• Per cent list of the used browsers
• Per cent list of the used remote domains
• Per cent list of the used remote addresses
• And a whole lot more with a little bit of Java

The stored data can be shown graphically
as charts where you can choose the number of days and the accuracy (days
and hours). The software has a reload check of 30 minutes, so each visitor
is counted once.
The collection of the necessary data is realized by displaying
a GIF graphic on the controlled web page. This graphic can be an integrated
Powerstat 2 Logo, an intgrated black dot, an integrated white dot, an access
counter graphic of the hits today or of the total hits or any other graphic
in bitmap format stored on our server. The access counter function offers
5 different stylings fo the counter digit. For every statistic you can choose
another graphic that should be displayed on the web page.
Firstserver PowerStat II Version 2.00 Includes the following functions :
Referer Function : which records the link pages
from where the visitors reaches your web pages (e.g. search engines) - you
have to include a Java Script Code to use this function.
Ranking Function : diplays a Ranking of your statistic based on the Today`s Hits.
Access Counter: with 5 different designs for the counter digit
- shows the total hits + startvalue or the Today`s Hits each statistic can
be viewed with your created design.

PowerStat 2 is a CGI Software for WebServers. The product is a compiled application,
whichs runs faster and more safe than a CGI Script.

Security in PowerStat II
PowerStat 2 has three different mechanisms to protect your statistic information.
A View Password for every Statistic - The administration sets a view
password for every statistic. Only with this password or the masterkey can
you have access to the statistic.
How to use PowerStat 2 in your HTML-Pages
About the code we email you.
PowerStat 2 collects the necessary informationen about
your visitors by displaying a graphic on that web page which you want to
have a statistic for. To realize this you have to include a HTML Code or
a Java Script Code in your web page which demands the graphic from PowerStat.exe.
If you want to use the Referer Function of PowerStat 2 you have to include
the Java Script Code. Otherwise the HTML Code is adequate. The return graphic
is a GIF-Graphic with 256 colors in maximum.

View Statistics
A link to your Power Stats will be emailed to you
A link to a ranking page will be emailed to you
You can view the statistics by entering the administration area or by starting
PowerStat.exe with the necessary parameters : http://www.Firstserver.cc/stats/powerstat.exe
then enter your stats name and password provided to you
Parameter
statfile=name of the statistic
viewfile=filename of the statistic design which should be used to display
the statistic. The statictic design must be located in the same folder than
PowerStat.exe.

Adapt the Return Graphic
If you add the parameter graphic=
to the HTML or Java
Script Code you can change the Graphic which is displayed on your web page.
graphic=logo shows the integrated PowerStat 2 - Logo.
graphic=whitedot shows a white dot.
graphic=blackdot shows a black dot.
graphic=YourFile.bmp shows any graphic which is stored in the same folder
with PowerStat.exe. You can use only Bitmap Graphics (256 colors in maximum)
which are converted by PowerStat.exe to GIF-Graphics with 256 colors in maximum.
graphic=counter1 uses the access counter with design 1 for the counter digit
graphic=counter2 uses the access counter with design 2 for the counter digit
graphic=counter3 uses the access counter with design 3 for the counter digit
graphic=counter4 uses the access counter with design 4 for the counter digit
graphic=counter5 uses the access counter with design 5 for the counter digit (in reality smaller)
If you use the access counter you can add the parameter
counter=total or counter=days, to display the total number of visitors (total)
or the today`s hits (days)
If you use the access counter and the parameter counter=total
you can add the parameter startvalue=x to add x to the total number of visitors.
This might be useful if you change to PowerStat 2 from another access counter
software and you want to start from your old end value.
If you copy a bitmap graphic named PowerStat.bmp in the
same folder with PowerStat.exe then this graphic will be used as return graphic
for all statictics where you do not use the parameter graphic.
